The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is organising hundreds of local activities every year, striving to raise awareness about environmental sustainability among international students and engaging them in volunteering activities. In order to increase our efforts and strengthen ESN's involvement in the field, we have decided to join forces with other youth organisations and advocate for a more environmentally sustainable world.
Therefore, , the first climate coalition of European youth-led NGOs, . They work to ensure that the EU always recognises and promotes the interests of young people in Europe. apart from ESN, the coalition consists of the following youth organisations: AEGEE, European Students' Union, OBESSU, Youth and Environment Europe, FIMCAP, CLIMATES and International Young Naturefriends.
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is the biggest student association in Europe. Present at over 1000 Higher Education Institutions, it unites over 520 local associations in 41 countries. More than 15,000 volunteers take care of international colleagues under the motto “Students helping students”. ESN works for the creation of a more mobile and flexible education environment by supporting and developing the student exchange from different levels and providing an intercultural experience.
